<\/p>\nThank you for teaching me to no longer take anything for granted. Travel, health, work, friends, small and everyday things that in the past seemed normal.<\/p>\n
Thank you for showing me how lucky we are to live in an era when technology and science truly perform "miracles" and we enjoy them without often thinking about the hard work and sacrifices behind them.<\/p>\n
Thank you that, despite the fears, the insecurities, the gloomy climate that prevails, what remains is the motto "when you fall, try to get up again". No matter how difficult the effort is, hope always guides you. The last two years or so have undoubtedly been quite difficult for all of us. Adapting to the new reality is not the simplest task and certainly nothing is finished. However, we must see the big picture behind all this. To move with the changes and be grateful for what we have. For many, everything we have is an elusive dream and perhaps unrealizable.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
But most of all, dear 2021<\/strong> thank you for the moments, experiences and trips with little Konstantinos! Because these are the greatest gift\u2026 Have no doubt that traveling often (as we used to do in the past) is not easy with a toddler. In general, we would say that traveling with him is in no way the same as traveling alone. It has difficulties, things and situations that you have to anticipate and a completely different planning compared to what we did when we were solo. The memories that are created, however, are unique! They are moments that you will keep engraved in your mind for a lifetime!<\/p>\n Like every time<\/a> So this year, we're doing a travel review and remembering everything we experienced in the year that's gone by. We may have canceled trips, we may have come very close to taking some but due to circumstances at the last minute we backed out, but we didn't stop. Let's go reminisce together, shall we?<\/p>\n Once the lockdown was lifted in June, no one was holding us back! Summer was well and truly upon us and the getaways were beginning! Our first stop was the Sivota<\/a> of Epirus, an ideal destination for carefree moments between the green of nature and the blue of the sea. The\u2026 fjords of Epirus really put us in the holiday mood.<\/p>\n There we had the opportunity to stay in a wonderful captain's house<\/a> where we would wake up among the trees, accompanied by the sounds of birds and a view of the blue Ionian Sea!<\/p>\n Are you going to Mykonos with your little one? Is this island for family vacations? They asked us\u2026 Well, it is for them too! And we found out by breaking down all the labels that some people so easily put on. We had come to Mykonos<\/a> Solo before, now we experienced it with Konstantinos. And we had a great time!<\/p>\n It was followed by an island that in the past had also acquired a "label" due to religious tourism. Tinos<\/a> It impressed us and what we have to say is that it is evolving into \u201cthe next big thing\u201d of the Cyclades!<\/p>\n Like every summer, this year we are spending a few days of August in the mountains of Western Macedonia. Clean air, good food, coolness and natural scenery are guarantees for days of carefree and absolute relaxation.<\/p>\n This tiny island nation has been on our radar for quite some time. And with good reason, it\u2019s a great holiday destination for any history buff who wants to combine sightseeing and beaches! So, at the end of August, we visited the Malta<\/a>, on a trip that we will never forget as it was Konstantinos' first abroad and it seems that he enjoyed it quite a bit!<\/p>\n Of course, we didn't forget to visit the island of Gozo<\/a>, which is characterized by the "relaxed" life of the locals and the very interesting (geologically) landscape.<\/p>\n As lovers of the sea, all three of us love to extend the summer by diving into the fall, until the weather cools down. Without too many people and with the sea temperature still good, we enjoyed diving until early October.<\/p>\n A beautiful weekend in November was the occasion for a walk in Veria where we wanted to see the archaeological site and museum of Vergina again. On our way back, we thought that we had visited the main archaeological sites in the country and wrote this article<\/a>So it went viral!!<\/p>\n So, amidst the pandemic and with little Konstantinos, we didn't give up! Always taking all the measures and precautions, we traveled as much as the conditions allowed and tried to show him his parents' love for travel! We don't expect him to remember any of this, but on the other hand, no one knows what is imprinted on the little minds of these tiny creatures! After all, as experts say, the most critical age in shaping a child's character is up to the age of six!<\/p>\nSivota<\/strong><\/h5>\n
