A very beautiful interview on iLarissa.gr. You can see the article and here.

A well-known saying says that once a year, we should go to a place we've never been before. Traveling is the best way to learn about yourself and broaden your horizons. A trip, no matter how short, requires proper preparation and organization, patience, and very good company.

That's probably why Giannis and Andromache will never stop traveling! Looking at the photos from the blog them but also on their page at facebook, you understand that in addition to being in love with each other, they are also in love with traveling. Giannis and Andromache are originally from Larissa, but they spend most of their time somewhere else… Wherever, it is their next destination! Giannis is a Civil Engineer, Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) instructor, skier, nature and adventure lover. Andromache is a teacher, loves Pilates and the company of a good book. They love traveling in Greece and abroad and record their experiences on their blog, Travel See Feel. I caught up with them somewhere in between their travels and asked them everything I wanted to know. So buckle up and let them take us on a journey!

You travel all over the world. How did it all start? Did you have the blog in mind from the beginning or did it come about because you are travel-loving souls?

Giannis: It was something I was preparing in my mind but it never went into practice. I had some doubts about how it should be done. Andromache helped me to make this idea of mine "flesh and bones" and gave the final push!

Andromache:Everywhere needs a feminine touch!

Golf cart – Caribbean

What was your first destination and why did you choose it?

Andromache: Venice!! It was a place I always dreamed of visiting!

Giannis: Yes, as far as abroad is concerned, Venice. First, however, we went to Skyros during the three-day Carnival because of the special customs of the island.

It's easy to follow this tropethe life?

Giannis: The difficult thing is to be able to combine work and travel because travel blogging in Greece cannot guarantee you a salary. We have our work and at the first opportunity… wherever it goes, it goes!

Andromache: Also, another problem we face is that when we can travel, the prices are not always favorable. by air and accommodation.

Las Vegas

From a financial perspective, how can someone arrange it so that they can make even one long trip a year?

John: It's all a matter of choices. You cut from somewhere and "invest" in travel. Because travel is an "investment". If you limit your expenses on expensive clothes, shoes, bags, drinks, entertainment, etc., they are enough and more. I can't understand women who will waste 500 euros on a bag (when they don't even have any left), while with the same money you can travel for 4-5 days to any destination in Europe!

Mexico

What elements should the ideal destination have for you?

Andromache: It should have a combination of things that make it attractive. Something that you can say is worth traveling there for. Landscapes, gastronomy, history, culture, activities, safety. And…. extreme sports for Giannis!

Grand Canyon

Do you have any strange stories to share from your travels?

John: Our strangest stories happen inside airports, where we usually run like crazy to catch connecting flights!

Andromache: Not only that! And when Giannis wants to do his extremes and I have to follow too! In the end, of course, I enjoy it, but hanging on zip lines in the jungle, above the trees, was not something ordinary for me.

Barcelona

Do you think Larissa could become a travel destination?

John: Over the last 10 years, Larissa has developed into a very worthwhile city break. It is also a very good base for excursions to beaches, Meteora, Olympus, etc. But that's it.

Greece or abroad and why?

Andromache: The best is a combination of both. Greece has many beauties, but contact with other cultures and people from other countries has a beneficial effect on the character of each person.

John: I agree. I believe that a person is incomplete if they have not traveled abroad, and several times in fact. However, we love our country and we certainly support it by traveling from one end to the other. On the other hand, we are disappointed by many things that in developed countries are taken for granted, while here they are not.

Paxos

If you could live in any part of the world, which one would you choose and why?

Andromache: I don't know if that would be possible, but I loved Barcelona! I think it's a people-centered city that meets my criteria.

John: Difficult question. Having lived in England for five years, I will tell you that it is difficult for a Greek to live in a place that does not remind him of Greece. So yes, Barcelona for sure and as a second choice I would also put San Diego. There was something about it that won me over…

Exotic Garden – Monaco

Do you think that the people of Larissa have the traveler gene? Or do they prefer their homeland?

John: Here's a good question for a poll! I think yes, they travel quite a bit, both in Greece and abroad! From what I've talked to friends at travel agencies, there is, despite the crisis, a big increase in bookings.

Andromache: I believe they travelNow with low cost airlines and Airbnb, travel has become quite affordable.

What will be your next destination?

John: We currently have some getaways planned within Greece and are preparing some collaborations with Greek travel online platforms.

Andromache: Let's not reveal it yet... At the beginning of summer, however, we are preparing a special trip within Europe, which will combine sea, gastronomy, landscapes, and history!

Los Angeles

Finally, what do you think someone gains through travel?

Andromache: Discovering different values and ways of living is really very interesting and exciting. Also, traveling changes any perception you had about life until now. You realize how small you are on this planet and what really matters in life.

John: Travel fills you with images, experiences, perspectives. Every trip is a great reboot of the mind! By traveling you become better, more mature and creative. You meet other people, you improve your social skills, you learn to be patient, you break the routine, you overcome anxieties and phobias. You open your horizons, as long as there is an innate and small stimulus. Someone wrote: "The only thing money can buy and make you rich is a trip"I don't think I've read anything wiser!"
