December, beyond being a month of joy, love and optimism, is also a month in which we take stock of the past year, as well as new plans for the future. 2018 was particularly special for us as so much happened that we could only be grateful! At the same time, this blog “went live” through which we share our travels and experiences with you. And we couldn't help but thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being with us and “accompanying” us on our travels. So, let's take a flashback to 2018…
United States of America
The year began with a journey of a lifetime that we will certainly never forget! Road trip in Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas – Grand Canyon and Venice BeachThe good preparation of the trip, which had begun months in advance, gave us the opportunity to see and do so much! Images, experiences, flavors, memories on a trip that we never wanted to end!
In the mountains of Greece
As one of our favorite hobbies is skiing, January and February found us in the beloved mountains of our homeland enjoying the snow and the beauties of the landscape. Pelion, Elatochori, Vasilitsa and Parnassos reminded us how unique our country is at all times of the year.
Athens
March found us in Athens hanging out at favorite hangouts and wandering around sights, feeling like…tourists for a while. In any case, in Athens you always discover something new and enjoy a little of this also known as the “Attic light”.
French Riviera
Nice, Cannes, Antibes, Eze and of course the principality of Monaco were the road trips of April in the beautiful French Riviera. An area straight out of 60s and 70s movies, with the refinement and culture of the European south. But because traveling is beautiful when shared, we were accompanied on this trip by two very good friends of ours with whom we also became…best men!
Thessaloniki
With summer approaching, May found us in Thessaloniki. A must-visit weekend destination for everyone, with walks on the beach, picturesque corners and excellent food.
Barcelona
July and the Barcelona It left us with the best impressions! A colorful city that we loved more than any other and in which we could easily live. Barcelonetta, Park Güell, La Rambla, Gaudi's buildings, the Gothic Quarter... Everything that this beautiful city offers, thrilled us so much that we will definitely want to go back.
Western Macedonia
Going against the grain that says summer is only for the beach, in August we headed to the mountains of western Macedonia, discovering everything that Greek nature has to offer. Forests, waterfalls, swimming pools, picturesque villages and hikes were on the daily agenda.
Parga
October had a pleasant surprise in store for us. A special three-day trip to the beautiful Parga with its picturesque narrow streets and beautiful beaches. The weather was wonderful and we enjoyed the last dives before winter set in.
Closing
During the past year, blog It has developed, grown and become a part of us that we share with you with great joy. In all of this, we have also won 2 trips and are planning new competitions.
2018 is leaving and a new year full of dreams, expectations and scenarios is just around the corner. We wish you the 2019 may it bring each of you health, joy, love and of course... lots of travel!
