It's over! We've experienced this too...
For about a month and a half now, millions of people on our planet have experienced an unprecedented experience of a generalized lockdown. Something that proved necessary in order to save the lives of our fellow humans and prepare countries' health systems to deal with the pandemic.
A lot has changed in our lives. Some of us have revised, some of us have learned new lessons… But what matters is that we emerge better and stronger from this adventure. What have we learned from this whole ordeal:
Return with caution
We will once again pour out onto the streets, onto beaches, onto beloved places. But this time and until the facts change, we will do it a little differently, taking care of ourselves and those around us…
Nothing is certain.
Everything we put off doing, we need to start prioritizing and implementing. You never know what life will bring and when we will be able to achieve our goals.
Health above all else
Have you thought about how many times you neglected to take those tests you were told to take, to exercise, to find some free time for yourself, to go for a walk in nature? Once the routine of everyday life begins, think about all of this again.
We appreciated the small and everyday things
That walk in the park, that movie at the cinema, that meal at the tavern with friends are things we will look at with different eyes when we can experience them again. Maybe now we will enjoy them more.
The people we love
Family, friends, relatives, people we missed and saw through our phone camera. Now that we can see them in person again, let's not neglect them because of everyday life.
Hope for tomorrow
This should be non-negotiable! With positive thinking and trust in science and all those who work hard, we will succeed. Let's stop filling our minds with fake news and irresponsible news that has flooded social media lately.
Let's travel again
We canceled trips, postponed excursions, stayed inside. The time will come again when we will travel slowly. Maybe this summer it will be difficult to make mass international flights, maybe not. Undoubtedly, what we must do, not because anyone will impose it on us, but because we love our country, is to stay Greece! To support tourism and domestic products because they are the lifeblood of our economy.
Finally, let's feel gratitude. We live on a beautiful planet and we must preserve it. There are so many beautiful things out there waiting to be discovered. Let's have our health and everything else will be found along the way!
