Wow!!! What a year we have had… If someone had told us a year ago that we would be going through all this, we would have told them that they had a great imagination! But life brings it this way and proves to us that it has a greater imagination than we expect. So, as every December, taking stock of the past year (we had also done last year) we remember everything we experienced and the strong emotions that 2020 left us with.
“When you make plans, someone up there is laughing,” says a saying, and I think that fits perfectly with the year that is ending. Many of the plans we made were postponed, trips we planned were canceled. However, 2020 was our best year for us! And that's because it gave us a wonderful baby to accompany us in everyday life and on our trips from now on! And that is the greatest gift of life… Let's go and review the year:
Metsovo
THE January entered with a beautiful weekend in the picturesque Metsovo. No matter how many times we visit this all-time classic destination, we will always find a reason to return! The stubbornly unchanging traditional character of Metsovo, the hospitality, the local gastronomy, the art and culture of the region are difficult to find together in such a small but also so “creative” place…

Alps
As in Greece the snowfalls of February were few, we decided to visit our favorite Alps by taking a tour of various ski resorts and settlements. The ski resorts of the Alps, in addition to the wonderful landscapes, offer a high level of quality of services and activities other than winter sports, which make them an ideal destination for everyone.

Lake Plastiras
Lake Plastiras with its beautiful natural environment, landscapes, excursions and good food was his excursion. MarchWe "charged" our batteries, filled ourselves with breaths of oxygen and images of nature just before we were locked in our homes due to the coronavirus.

Quarantine
Without any warning, Covid-19 changed our lives and defined the coming months. The April It was a month that will be remembered by all of humanity as a very large percentage of the population remained in quarantine to deal with the pandemic.
The Gift of Life
In the early days summer along with the first warmth, our tiny little creature came to life and changed everything! What can one describe about the unprecedented emotions we felt… Along with the endless joy that filled us, we had to adapt to the new realities, to the late nights and the demands of the new life. As soon as the first days passed, when everything was so new, we started our first excursions!

Holidays with a baby
With our baby who was only 50 days old, we did the August the first vacation with him testing his endurance but also ours. And we really had a great time! After all, nothing is impossible if you take all the necessary measures and make a proper plan.

Pieria
This year due to the pandemic was just right for road trip. So him September We explored the prefecture from end to end. Pieria which is full of little treasures! And because the area is inexhaustible we went again and again!

Cable Olympus
Over time it remains quite good and October, we visited Cavo Olympo, enjoyed an unforgettable five-star stay and did perhaps the best hotel review until today!

Nafplio
Our last roadtrip before the second lockdown was to the beautiful Nafplio which always enchants with its timeless charm! Staying a few days longer there, we had the opportunity to visit two important archaeological sites, Mycenae and Epidaurus.

Closing
In addition to all this, we also held five competitions with travel, book and travel goodies as prizes, while the Daily, the Athens 9.84 and the Real They did us the honor of writing about us!
In the past year, our blog has grown, filled with even more articles, photos and videos from trips, which for us are always a testimony of our soul and a way to communicate with you. We could not help but thank you for reading us and supporting us in these almost three years since we began this endeavor.
Undoubtedly, 2020 was a year we will never forget! Each for their own reasons… This year's Christmas will be a bit strange. Without friends, New Year's Eve, events, customs and the familiar atmosphere of the holidays. We always chase a little of the "magic" of the days that remind us of beautiful childhood memories… This year everything will be different. But we are all in this together. Our health and the health of our fellow human beings come first. Nothing lasts forever, so we will get through this too.
Sooner or later we will travel again. Let's dream for now because the best is yet to come!
